Meet Suzy
I call my business Look After You because I have a long held belief that when so many of us look after others – we must start by looking after ourselves first.
I have been using Natural protocols to heal myself and my family for 40 years and I have been in practice since the mid ’90’s as a Reflexologist and Naturopathic Nutritionist , please see testimonials to appreciate the expertise and experience offered.
I practice what I preach! I enjoy using Nutrition & Naturopathic philosophy for good health throughout life and I love sharing that information and enthusiasm with my patients. I love working with people who really want to take the reins and responsibility and heal themselves back to wellness with great Nutrition for re-nourishment and Naturopathic techniques for Detoxification. For an even greater healing boost and a treat for the Mind, Soul and Body please take a look at my Juice Detox Retreats page.
I have a regular monthly Reflexology session myself to ‘look after me’ so that I can offer a great relaxing, healing space in my practice to everyone that chooses to come along for Reflexology. Please look at my Nutrition and Reflexology pages for more detail on each of those.
I qualified as a Reflexologist with the Association of Reflexologists (AoR); the UK’s largest Reflexology body in 1995. and I gained my Diploma in Natural Nutrition in 1999. I started teaching Reflexology in 1999 and Nutrition in 2003 and have the City and Guilds 7407 Stage 1 and 2 teaching Certificate and the A1 Assessors Award qualifications
I had an unusual upbringing around Health, which has given me huge confidence in the effectiveness of complementary therapies. During my early teens my youngest sister started with epilepsy following age 5 vaccination and further medical intervention was little help. A Homeopath & Acupuncturist was successful in helping my sister to heal from the fits and from the depression caused by medication. A little while later my father, unsupported by medics for gut issues, made changes to his Nutrition and healed himself, the main strategy along with others that I used to heal myself of eczema in my late teens. In my early twenties my mother had gallstones which she sought Homeopathic and Naturopathic help for and successfully healed from with no medical intervention. All of these ‘dis-ease’ events, led me to research very carefully during my pregnancies with my own young family. Reading of the many side effects of vaccinations, it seemed clear to me that my daughters would do better developing their own immunity through good diet.
I discovered Reflexology from library books when my daughters were very young and they loved it so much and seemed to get such benefit to their immune system from it that I decided to train. My Natural Nutrition course followed four years later when I realised that I wanted to help patients with something that they could help themselves with.
Some testimonials
The Best Christmas present ever. Suzy has a calm and relaxing aura, encourages you to start cooking more rather than eating convenient foods. It is healthier, cheaper and passes on your knowledge to family and friends. Realising you can make time for yourself and the Reflexology treatments. An experience not to be missed. Since receiving Suzy’s nutritional advice I have got my life back on track and my health is going from strength to strength. When giving Reflexology Suzy has ‘magic hands’. I cannot imagine visiting a more skilful practitioner! I had horrendous shoulder pain over two weeks which no amount of pain relief would touch – I also tried Swedish back massage which would have been lovely if I had not been in so much pain! My first session of Reflexology whilst suffering from this miraculously cleared it by the next day – amazing!Osteoporosis and under active thyroid
Back in 2005 one of my Christmas presents was a consultation with Suzy Sherratt. Since then my health has improved month by month. Suzy’s advice over the years has made such a difference to my health & lifestyle.
After 35 years with an underactive thyroid, my thyroid is now working on its own – which means no more prescription drugs. The synthetic thyroxin did not agree with me so I had to buy Armour thyroid from USA. (Very expensive). Now I have no tablets to buy from the U.S.A. – this more than pays for the consultations with Suzy.
Having osteoporosis in my spine & hips I have refused to take the drugs from the hospital after researching the side effects of these drugs. With Suzy’s advice I am now improving my bone density with an akaline diet.
At the age of 63 I do not take any prescription drugs – not like many of my friends, younger/older than me, who have a list that they have to take!! What are all these drugs doing to their bodies?

After badly injuring my knee in the summer of 2010 I was barely able to walk and initially in some pain. Regular reflexology sessions have made my knee feel supported and it is steadily improving and I am in no pain. So far despite some damage to cartilage I have avoided medical intervention and my physiotherapist says it continues to improve. Thanks Suzy
I have had low iron stores for over five years and have had to regularly take supplements. Due to the knee injury I have had regular reflexology treatments and on my last blood test my iron result was the highest I’ve had since this problem began, meaning it is normal again and I need no supplements. Could be a coincidence but I suspect not, plus very relaxing after a busy day at work, enabling me to chill.
